The Korean government intends to leap forward as "the No. 1 country in future mobility competitiveness" by 2030. It aims to achieve a global market share of 10% as the world's No. 1 supplier of electric and hydrogen vehicles by reorganizing 33% of new vehicles into eco-friendly vehicles by 2030. It also aims to become the world's first country to commercialize fully autonomous driving on all major roads by 2027. The future mobility market will be driven by eco-friendly and autonomous cars, and their related service industries.

Electric and hydrogen vehicles are the most suitable for autonomous driving as their motor-based precision control systems, such as steering, driving, and braking, are far simpler to automate. Daegu, a leading city for autonomous cars based on electric vehicles, has the highest EV penetration rate in the nation and has established an excellent charging infrastructure. In addition, it is an incubator for various business models and establishing an environment by operating and demonstrating the nation's first autonomous driving shuttles.

As a leading city for autonomous mobility based on electric vehicles in Korea, Daegu will introduce promotion policies and its market conditions for future mobility, corporate support infrastructure and its national industrial complexes in this online seminar.
