Event Overview

Germany and Korea both have ambitious net-zero targets for 2045 and 2050 respectively. In the building and industry sector, tapping the efficiency potential of waste heat utilization is key to achieving the decarbonization targets. In both Germany and Korea, it will become increasingly important to reuse waste heat in various applications to improve energy efficiency and reduce energy costs.

This bilateral webinar will therefore introduce specific and innovative use cases from both countries. Experts from industry and academia will talk about new developments concerning waste heat utilization in heating networks, storage opportunities and for electricity generation. The final list of experts will be published via our social media presence. The webinar will offer opportunities for exchange and questions.
