We are delighted to invite you to our special reception, building upon the success of last year's reception with Korean Prime Minister Mr. HAN Duck-Soo. As we approach the midpoint of President YOON Suk-Yeol's term, his occasion aims to conduct a comprehensive assessment of the progress made in economic policy, foreign investment sentiment, and the overall appeal of Asia's 4th largest economy.
Centered around the theme "Economic Policy and Vision of the New Government One Year Later", our esteemed guest of honor, Korean Prime Minister Mr. HAN Duck-Soo, will address the audience to share tangible advancements in the government's economic policies. This presents an exceptional opportunity to gain insights into the government's long-term vision and to understand the key measures that will shape the country's economic trajectory.
Additionally, the reception will feature an interactive panel discussion on the topic of "Challenges of German and French Companies in Korea". Distinguished representatives from German and French companies, who are either investing or reinvesting in South Korea, will gather to discuss obstacles faced by the business community in the region.
MAIN SPEAKER
Mr. HAN Duck-Soo is considered a preeminent trade expert and has served nearly four decades under different administrations of four different presidents. In addition to serving as a prime minister once before under Roh Moo-Hyun, he has held positions such as deputy prime minister, Blue House senior presidential secretary, and South Korean ambassador to the US. Since May 20, 2022, he serves again as Prime Minister under Yoon Suk-Yeol presidency.
