KGCCI M2M Seminar: Tax Talks with Shin & Kim

Korea-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KGCCI) and Shin & Kim cordially invite you to the second "Tax Talks" session on November 17, 2021, at 9:00 am – 10:00 am.


It will be an offline event held in Shin & Kim's offices (max. 20 people).

For the second session of Tax Talks series, we invite you to join us as we go through the main tax reform proposals for 2022 that may be relevant for the purposes of your business.



Ms. Sun Young ("Sunny") Kim​, Head of Shin & Kim's International Tax Practice, will lead the discussion, covering:

  • Key proposed amendments that may impact businesses in Korea, and what measures have been introduced in the proposals to strengthen and protect taxpayers' rights in Korea; and
  • Insights on what implications will come about as a result of the proposed changes.

    Sunyoung Kim is a senior foreign attorney at Shin & Kim who primarily concentrates on international taxation and foreign investment advice. Ms. Kim has provided advice on international taxes for various cross-border transactions, including foreign investment by Korean multinational corporations, asset management companies and sovereign wealth funds, domestic project finance by foreign investors, and real estate and SOC investments.

    She started her career in 1997 by joining Deloitte & Touche LLP, and has since developed her career as an international taxation specialist for more than 20 years. She has worked for various Korean and foreign accounting firms and law firms, and currently serving as a director at the Tax Law Association and International Fiscal Association Korea.
