There is a growing awareness that our linear economic model is not sustainable and eventually presents a threat to life on our planet. Moving towards a more circular economy could deliver benefits such as reducing pressure on the environment, improving the security of the supply of raw materials, increasing competitiveness, stimulating innovation, and boosting economic growth. In this conference, we will discuss the policies and strategies of the Korean and German governments, try to learn from each other and exchange ideas for cooperation possibilities through practical application cases and plans of companies as well as local governments.
